07. What is the misunderstanding of science?

The biggest misunderstanding about science is that it always hopes to explain all things through its research and development, so as to eventually solve all problems radically.

Science, as one of academic subjects, and a form of natural existence, is itself constrained. Scientists have to admit that many questions on nature will never be explained and analyzed via scientific methods. Many phenomena and existences cannot be recognized and proved through dialectic way of thinking. At present many people are starting searching a new way that is rational, objective and justified, to recognize and understand unknown issues of the nature and human beings.

Science is not the essential means by which people realize the immutable peace and go to the highest civilization. Science itself is of contradictions. Isn’t the upgrading and developing level of weapons in the world an outcome of contradictions? The fact that both sides of contradictions are extending extremely will not solve the problems coming from themselves, but lead them to destruction…

The development of science could better material conditions of human beings, but it cannot change the human’s nature radically. If the human’s nature is not to be changed, the world will never truly realize peace and harmony.
