15. What are contemporary political misunderstandings?

　　a. Desperate enjoyment of desires for materials, possession of wealth, while encouraging others to enjoy desires for materials and to chase wealth. These are the main causes of extreme phenomena such as resource waste, over-exploitation, polarization of the rich and poor and deterioration of ecologic environment.

　　b. Trying in vain to resolve all problems of human beings through scientific progresses and developments. Scientists and politicians must know that some problems, such as human’s nature and the origin of Heaven and Earth, will never be resolved by science, which is artificial and dialectic.
Human beings, as the Myriad Things, are not the practitioners of the origin of Heaven and Earth. People will never get accurate conclusions if they keep doing research and analysis to the origin of the Myriad Things by means of scientific methods and dialectic thinking.
Human’s nature is capable of generating ideas, politics and sciences. But ideas, politics and sciences will never generate human’s nature. This is similar to the fact that nature is capable of generating the Earth, but the Earth can never generate the nature.

　　c. Trying in vain to balance the relationship between moral and substances by means of developing laws, politics and forms of religions. Any form of means, regardless of laws or weapons, can only have constrained effects, but will never resolve people’s problems radically. Because all forms of things are dialectic and relative. What’s more, laws always fall behind the development of times and society. Laws will always have flaws and will never be perfect…
