20. Is religion root of politics?

That “It is religion that politics originated from” is not accurate. It should be said that truth and way of nature are roots of politics. Religions are talking about the truth, but not about the forms. The root lies in what Confucius had taught to us, such as “The Way of higher education (Da Xue)”, “Cultivating oneself and getting rid of one’s desire”, and “building a family, ruling the country”.
