TAO vs. Religion08. See Qigong as it is.
What is Qigong? For an obsessed Qigong practitioner, if you cannot answer this question fundamentally, you should be aware of yourself. Literally, Qigong is the function of Qi (The Qi in Qigong means air in Chinese, and, by extension, life force, dynamic energy or even cosmic breath--Wikipedia). In term of nature, nature has unvarying Qi, varying Qi, and exchanging Qi. In term of human’s body, human’s body has Genuine Qi, respiratory Qi and carcass. If one cannot clearly know about what he is practicing, he will waste time and be cheated out of money. Even more, he will be possessed by the devils and err from the right path. In both the ancient and nowadays, all the countries, all forms in the world are different, but the principles of human’s body are not, truth are not. I, from the rational and nature point of view, would advise every practitioner of Qigong that, to be responsible to the society, your family, and yourself, do not turn to any doctor you can find when critically ill, do not blind training and practice, do not readily believe non-truth theories. Otherwise, you will regret it. Enlightened one never tells a lie. I love you from my benevolent heart. If you still do not believe what I had said above, you can consider the questions below: 1. Is Qigong the root of health-preserving and fitness? It is subjective and fault that current scientific community deny the supernatural functions produced by Qigong. I think Qigong phenomenon and supernatural functions do exist. But I would accurately say that the supernatural function practitioners will not obtain real fruit of life, nor reach the highest spiritual realm. Qigong practitioners should see more sage’s scriptures, especially what Sakyamuni had said in the Diamond Sutra, which is included in this site for you to free download. Today’s leaders of Qigong organization, taking advantage of the timing that some scholars were still not very clear about the truth of nature and life, boasting that they are able to cure diseases and improve health. They summoned people, even creating troubles. It’s a pity that they brought up suffering to lots of families. Some “Qigong masters” acted as patriarch of folk religions in the era of feudal society. They always called themselves re-incarnation of Sage xx. They deceived their believers by promising rebirth and supernatural functions. Sages like Lao-Tse, Confucius, Sakyamuni, Jesus, Mohammad… have the theories that lead the Under Heaven to harmony, and the highest spiritual enlightenment. On the contrary, what those Qigong masters have apart from the magic that is nothing new as early as in the feudal times. As we know, there is only one supreme truth. The person who is most authoritative to tell the supreme truth is called Sage. Therefore, religion practitioner, along with Qigong practitioner, should tell if what Qigong masters said is truth or not, by using Sages’ scriptures. If what Qigong master said is not matched with what Sages had said, then one of them (Qigong master and Sages) is wrong. Sages’ theories endure tests of thousands of years, while these Qigong masters merely played a farce. They always ended in misery. People try to deceive others only to end in deceiving themselves. Sticking to fault theories will lead to demolition of life. I often speak to myself: “In this world, if I do not listen to Sages, who else should I listen to? If I do not believe in Sages, who else can I believe in? ”. By Orient Dawn
